(not from Iraq/USA violence, but that hasn't helped).

Fascinating effect of high gas (HSO4) build-up in quite-liquid material held under some pressure in the colostomy bag. (Don't tell the Jackass boys, anyone.) Having experienced this some months back in earlier adjustment of body to major assault upon it, I have developed a few coping mechanisms.
Hoping to be able to go to work tomorrow, headaches still bad, but cramps, vomiting, diarrhoea have somewhat subsided -- it was probably just some bad food -- will wear special style of bag that copes better. It has an opening you can use to either let out excess gas or drain contents without having to rip it off your increasingly tender skin.
OK, that's safe again, sort of
